The FINA Water World Park is not only of interest to visitors and residents of the host city. It has become a traditional part of visit programmes for government officials and celebrities who come to support participants of the 16th FINA World Championships. Every day, the best volunteers are rewarded and autograph sessions take place with famous people. Today, Russian diver, two-time world champion and Kazan 2015 Ambassador Gleb Galperin came to talk to competition fans in the FINA Water World Park.

The day before there was a thunderstorm in the FINA Water World Park. The artists of the Saint-Petersburg Theatre have made a debut staging the unique project show the Dancing Under the Water. The artists showed a love story full of passion and hope using only body movements. This very story was performed under the make believe rain which was pulled off by the previously installed equipment.

The FINA EXPO Pavilion kicks off on the premises of the FINA Water World Park. All the achievements of Russian and even Soviet swimmers are exhibited there. Besides an interesting cultural and entertainment programme is prepared for all attendees.

Since its opening more than 35,000 people have already visited the FINA Water World Park. Every day visitors can enjoy a rich cultural and entertainment programme: fun-filled activities, competition broadcasts, performances of ensembles of the federal and regional levels.

The Park invites guests of Kazan to attend the Colours of Sabantuy Tatar Folk Art Festival and Dancing Under the Water show tonight.

Dr. Julio C. Maglione, FINA President, and Alexander Zhukov, President of the Russian Olympic Committee, visited today the main cultural venue for the FINA World Championships 2015. The guests took part in the opening of Dive Safely project pavilion and walked around the Park.

One of the largest global events of this year, the opening of the 16th FINA World Championships, took place on July 24 in Kazan. More than 6,000 spectators attended the Opening Ceremony. According to the recent estimates, the TV audience of the Championship has amounted to 4.5 bln viewers around the world. The show Pilgrim touched the hearts of all spectators, performers and volunteers, who worked during the event.

Today the Park’s visitors will be presented a vast array of fun-filled activities. The Red Ribbon band offers a charity concert on the main stage. Also, a diving legend will appear in the Park to chat with its visitors.
