KVN Festival jokes set a good mood at FINA Water World Park

As part of the Festival, the invited guests – the representatives of the Detektivnoye Agentstvo Lunny Svet (‘Moonlight Detective Agency’) KVN team – awarded the volunteers of the day. As the headliner, Timur Babyak, said that KVN people and volunteers have a lot in common. “KVN people and volunteers, as well all people dealing with art have one thing in common. This is enthusiasm, the most important thing in any activity. Volunteers help visitors of Kazan, and us among them, on a voluntary basis; I guess the Championships would not have been possible without them,” Timur noted.

“When this festival was being organised, we were aware of all the responsibility and global scope of the event. The teams had to perform in the FINA Water World Park, so all the jokes were thoroughly selected and only the best teams of the Volga Federal District and the Republic of Tatarstan could show off their comedian skills,” Director of the KVN Youth Republican Public Organisation, Ildar Fattakhov, said.

Each of the participating teams should have prepared a homemade performance. The winners of the festival were chosen by the crowds’ reaction to the teams’ jokes. The SNG (CIS – Commonwealth of Independent States) team from Kazan took the first place, ‘Shifer’ ChOP (‘Slate’ Private Security Company) team from Mordovia took the second place, and the third place went to the Welcome to Kazan team. All the winners were presented with souvenirs and prizes.
