FINA Water World Park to host dance battle

Today all visitors of the FINA Water World Park will be able to experience a dynamic, engaging and foot tapping rhythm of the ongoing sporting event. Dance teams will battle in the following categories:

• Hip hop
• House dance  
• Break dance
• Me against the music
• Best team show

One on one battle music will be provided by DJ Gavyer. The battles will be judged by the U13 Dance Team, a group of experienced dancers that was launched on March 16, 2009 through the support of the Kazan 2015 Executive Directorate and the Kazan Mayor's Office.

For reference 

The first dance ensemble of U13 was made up of nine guys who were united by one simple desire to create the first extraordinary male ensemble ever in Kazan. Now there are 21 of them. The U13 Dance Team is a winner of the Dance TV show on Muz TV Channel, awardee of numerous national and international contemporary dance festivals, title holder in the Best Dance Ensemble category at the Student of the Year Awards.

The In the Rhythm of the Championships Dance Festival is to start today at 18:00 in the FINA Water World Park.

The FINA Water World Park is located close to the Kazan Arena Stadium and occupies a total area of over 5,000 sq. m. The Championships organisers ensure free admission for all visitors whether they plan to visit competitions or not. Admission to the Park is available through security stations from Chistopolskaya Street and Prospekt Yamasheva Street. The Park will be open daily from 12:00 till 22:00 up to August 16.
