More than 70 rights-holding broadcasters will provide comprehensive coverage of the 16th FINA World Championships 2015. EPC (Eurovision Production Coordination) will act as the host broadcaster for the tournament. According to the latest available data, 54 TV companies and 14 radio broadcasters have so far confirmed their readiness to deliver broadcasts during this summer's mega aquatics event.

The line-up of broadcast partners mainly includes European TV channels, Asia being represented by several companies from Japan, China, Singapore, Philippines, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and other territories and countries. In addition to that, the list of broadcasters features companies from North and South America and Middle East. To crown it all, live coverage will also be provided by such big-name companies as Canal+ and Eurosport that will do their best to ensure audiences will have access to the best of the sporting action.

"Broadcast production planning in the build-up to the tournament is one of the key priorities for us. The fact that the whole world will watch the Championships will give us an opportunity to promote aquatic sports even further. Another interesting thing in terms of broadcasting solutions is that for the first time in the history of FINA the swimming and synchronised swimming events will be hosted at the football stadium," said Deputy Director General of the Executive Directorate for Sports Projects, Dmitry Mikhailov.

It is expected that more than half of the world's population - around 4.5 bln people - will watch the Championships TV coverage.
