16th FINA World Championships 2015 in Kazan

Due to its favourable geographic position, Kazan has a well-designed ramified transport system that connects Kazan with federal regions of Russia and countries abroad. The city boasts a comprehensive transport system of railways, highways, airways and river routes. Kazan is one of the most important logistics and transportation hubs in Russia. The M7 Volga Federal Highway (E22) and three Russian federal highways R239, R241 and R242 pass through the city of Kazan. There are also the R-175 federal highway and Northern Europe – Western China route in near proximity to the city.
